Excellent Purchase!
First of all, shipping was much faster than expected and that’s always a plus. The frame is aluminum with a clear flexible screen (not glass). Definitely not a high quality custom built frame but it gets the job done and is the best option you’re going to find if you’re in the U.S. Design is sleek and fits the B2 poster perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

PERFECT
I don't know why it took me this long to try and search for a proper JAPANESE B2 poster frame... for a while now, whenever i'd get a bonus poster from certain albums and other goods, i'd always have to compromise on the frame size/dimensions and end up getting a frame that was SLIGHTLY too big. It always put a damper on my excitement for these posters. But something finally clicked in me and i realized "...why not try to see if anyone sells a true JAPANESE STANDARD B2 frame? So glad I found this listing! It arrived a little earlier than the estimated delivery date. It was packaged very well with lots of bubble wrap/filler to ensure it would not be damaged. my poster fits like a glove! The instructions are in japanese, but there are pictures to go along with it, so you should understand the gist of how to unscrew and place your poster inside the frame. i'm excited now that i have a proper way to display my japanese posters and i WILL be ordering again!

Nice idea, poor execution
As expensive as this frame was, not even including international shipping, it would be nice if the included clear cover sheet were actually the correct size. If you look closely at the second pic, you'll see that it's a few millimeters too short. When you put the frame together (you have to undo screws to put in your poster), and hang it (the included hanging mechanism is literally a piece of string), the force of gravity exposes the gap at the top.If it actually fit together, it would be amazing. It's light and simple, doesn't do anything to distract from whatever you're hanging. The cheap string hanger actually works well enough. And to be fair, it's possible my defect is an atypical fluke. But when you factor in shipping it's not really feasible to exchange.

Japanese Movie Poster Frame
I bought a classic movie poster from a sidewalk sale in Japan, and when I got home to the US, I realized Japanese movie posters aren’t the same size as US movie posters. So I bought this, paying more for shipping than the frame itself, but at least it fits, and looks OK enough.

Perfect for anime posters!
Anyone who's bought imported anime posters has likely been frustrated that the poster frames at US retailers don't quite fit. 20x30 will crunch the edges, but they'll swim in a 24x36. So thank goodness Arte frames are finally available on Amazon! They're just the right size for your anime posters, they're super-lightweight, AND the frame pieces screw in, so you don't need to worry about them slipping off! Since they're shipped from Japan, shipping is of course expensive, but if you buy more than one it's only an extra $7 shipping per piece! So if you have a lot of posters like I do, definitely buy them in bulk!

A good option if you're on a budget.
It's really difficult to find frames this size unless you're ordering them from Japan. These are sturdy enough as they are aluminum, and lightweight. The front is plastic, but it looks good. The back where you do the hanger is kind of odd and involves a string, but it's not like you see it when it's hanging up. Overall, it certainly beats shelling out for custom-made frames.

Does the job, but feels cheap...
These are probably 2000y poster frames. Metal frames with thin plastic film (as per description). To open it, you have to unscrew two of the screws holding L-shaped connectors within the frame to pull out the top. It's not the nicest material, but what I like the most about the one I got was how it came with 3 hooks and a string so you can mount it on a wall in such a way to avoid warping the frame. It's clearly not the best material, so that's why it works this way...but it's miles better than the cheaper frames you can get in the USA where if you hang it by the edge it will warp the frame.Since I live in the USA, JIS B2 poster frames are just not available in retail. Japanese posters are often in this format... I marked it 4 stars because the value is just not there, as free shipping perhaps has a lot to do with this. Otherwise the product works as advertised and even looks pretty okay, despite the cheaper material. It's just that if I shopped around and bulk order custom frames, I can probably get custom frames at a better quality with a similar price per unit...it's just but this makes my life so much easier.

Difficult to use, arrived with warped plastic
Beyond the issue of having the clear plastic warped to the point of making it unusable, the frame itself is quite difficult to work with - requires unscrewing things and trying to slide the poster in from the top (which can damage the poster!)
