The best out there
This PSU is amazing. Cybernetics shows 93-94% efficiency at typical consumption with 115v input, while also having A++ noise rating. Basically the highest end components out there are in this unit. Compare other 1000w PSUs in the same price range and you'll find their efficiency isn't as good and their noise rating isn't as good, meaning they cheaped out somewhere. Someone at FSP wanted to make a no-compromise PSU, and this is it.There are some complaints in the reviews here about the cables being cheap. They're standard ATX power cables, and they deliver power like they should. All my system's voltage readings are ideal even with a 7950X3D and 4090 under full load. If you're building a showpiece PC, you're going to want super fancy cables from a 3rd party anyway. If not, you just want cables that do their job. I'd much rather FSP put another $40 into quality PSU components while maintaining a reasonable price point, versus including individually stranded cables I don't need, and on a bunch of cables most people will never even see/use.

One of the best PSUs around
I spent a long time choosing this PSU and per many reviews its one of the best on the market. FSP is a well established name in PSU business and they put all their expertize in this one.For me it was very quiet (as expected) and had more power connector options that I could ever need. It can easily run 2 GPUs and 12 HDDs if you ever want. I paid a premium for this one but I think that its worth paying a premium for PSU that every single component of your PC depends on.My power grid is not so good, with power surges and outages monthly. This PSU handled them well for last month. Small gaps in power delivery are ignored, large ones don't fry PC.

Good performance, somewhat clunky cables
Re: FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000WI got this based on a good review at "Hardware Busters" and it being an ATX 3 power supply.Hardware busters gave it very high marks for performance.-Pros*) Quiet, at least for my setup*) Seems to work well.*) Not as giant as say the (non-ATX 3) 1000W ROG THOR :-)*) Graphics power is PCIe 12V-2x6 of course.*) Came well packaged.-Cons*) Some cables have stiff sleeves at one end around the outside of the cable bundlewhich make it clunky to position. See the attached photo for a picture of theATX power cable where there is a large stiff section near the MB connector andto some extent the Graphics power connector as well.*) Cabling was otherwise generally adequate. But not as nice as some other high endsupplies have.*) Minor point, but the single giant sheet of instructions didn't seem to list power capabilitiesfor each cable anywhere.Overall it works well, but I wish it didn't have the stiff cable sections on the ATX and Graphics card cables.Edit: Clarify that the stiff section is only at the end of some cables (the ATX and Grahics card power cables).

Appears to be one of the best
Works well so far. As with anything electrical things can go bad. What is important is how the company handles the warranty. From the specs it looks like one of the best power supplies you can buy. Feels quality, looks good. I do not see why people are complaining about the cables. They work fine and are flexible to work with. I like this unit so well I will purchase another, just hope if there is ever a problem, they will replace it as it has a 10-year warranty. Without further aging not much more can be said. Voltages all look good, powers my AMD 9950X3D, Nvidia 5080 after some hard gaming. I would say if you are looking for a quality PS give it a hard look.

Pricey but it has it all! Quiet and efficient.
Quiet. Powerful. Compact.Wish the quality of the cable is better at this price point. The 24pin cable is actually quite stiff and I had to trim the vinyl wrap here and there to make it bend more.

the best
excellent product.I've heard they are the manufacturer for more known names. I believe it.it's priced very fairly and is dead silent. Top notch find. cables are a little stiff but absolutely fine.

Low quality cables and manual.
I bought this PSU due to its expected high performance. It replaced a 1,000W Seasonic that died after 12+ yrs of continuous run in my home server/gaming PC.I give it 3 stars because the cables appear of very poor quality. The connectors seem flimsy and they tend to pop out from PSU as the locking lever is flimsy and doesn't engage positively. The wire quality appears poor. The Seasonic had nice sleeves, this is like a cheapo bare wire from Radioshack. Finally the manual is a joke. It is a 1 sheet of very large paper without any sense or logic to it. It has a mishmash of various languages and at first I thought there's no English. After studying it for some time, I still can't find English explanation for some steps.Specs are not clear. What is a maximum load per cable? If it wasn't that I needed the PC up and running I'd have returned it.Hugely disappointed for such an expensive power supply.

Good with minor flaws
It's quiet and has ostensibly great electrical performance. Made in Taiwan. The cables are functionally good but not installer friendly.I really like the SATA connectors being crimped rather than insulation displacement. That's a detail most don't catch, but they also require excessive insertion force. They probably have stellar vibration tolerance, but you're going to snap drive connectors if you're not paying attention. The 20+4 ATX connector doesn't affirmatively lock together and instead has to be hooked up in a specific order or the harness won't seat correctly. Which is dumb and potential equipment hazard. In another case of the dumb, they opted not to have any dedicated 4 pin HDD connectors except at the ends of SATA chains. Which is tantamount to not having any at all because you can't trust them with high current. At this point just give me a bag of SATA adapters since you went for the mongo strength SATA connectors anyway. It's great if you can see your way past those issues though.
